Save with Thin Client Solutions

Use current PC is becoming obsolete with the Thin Client-effective solution. How good the technology? Get the answer in this article. by Ferry

Thin Client is a type of infrastructure in the world of information technology systems that use a network with centralized on a server and client / workstation / desktop computing process of working on that server. The concept presented is roughly similar to mainframe technology that uses an ASCII terminal / ANSI. At first glance the two look the same because the technology is running on low-specification computers and all the resources used came from a server such as, processor, hard disk, and memory. However, there are fundamental things that distinguish this concept with mainframe technology, namely technology, thin clients can run on Windows systems with complete support full color screen, keyboard, and mouse for input / output data. In addition, this technology also can deliver sound output.

Thin clint has characters that contrast with Fat Client technology which is still widely used today. Fat client technology is designed to meet the computing needs of its own resources. This makes the fat client technology becomes more expensive than the thin client technology. Thin client technology referred to as a more efficient technology in terms of price and pe-manfaatan full capabilities of the computer server to process from the client computing. Thin clients also lower the cost of maintenance and investment side of the device as a whole compared with fat client technology.
